“As a Catholic university in an urban setting, how are we
community builders?” asks Brother Raymond L. Fitz, S.M.,
UD president. “How are we reaching out? How are we
enhancing the dignity of the person? How are we building
community relationships?” One answer: UD’s planned
Center for Leadership in Community which will help solve
the problems facing our nation’s communities and
neighborhoods and will provide opportunities for faculty
research and student service learning. |
